PD1107 Soft-Flex™ Blanket
The second half of the PDM patient warming system is the Soft-Flex warming blanket. The Soft-Flex line addresses a broad range of patient warming needs commonly found in EMS and PACU environments.
The blankets are constructed with a two-layer system: The top material is a non-reflecting polyethylene film that can be wiped off when spills occur. The bottom material is a non-woven polyester cloth that absorbs fluid spills without damage. Soft-Flex blankets are made of disposable/recyclable materials.
The PD1107 (adult) Full Body Warming Covers were developed to provide full body warming during surgery. These two models provide two access panels (upper and lower) that are opened and taped back to provide access to the surgical site. Once the surgical procedure is completed the panel can be closed and re-taped to provide a warming cover that can travel to the recovery room with the patient.

Note: Progressive Dynamics has previously reviewed and, from time to time, performs additional reviews of the overall LIFE-AIR 1000® System. These reviews have all shown that the LIFE-AIR 1000 Blowers, Soft-Flex warming covers and hoses do not contain natural latex.
